About The Race
Race for the Family Experience
The Cade Foundation’s Race for the Family, scheduled for Saturday 15 June, 2024 (in person) at the Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport Hiker Biker Trail, located on the periphery of the airport.
The Race for the Family is our family focused 1 mile walk/ 5k run/ 12 mi biking event focused on raising support and money for grants for families with infertility. Together- as we walk run and spin for the family- we are raising awareness about the issues that cause infertility- the supports available to aid families that struggle to conceive and show the strength of our community. This is a HYBRID event so you can join us in person at the BWI hiker biker trail or sign up virtually and complete your event on your own.
Registrants will receive the following SWAG (i.e. stuff we always get ;-) :
1) Tech material branded race shirts (but the infant onesies are cotton)
2) Virtual Event Bag full of virtual goodies from sponsors
3) One raffle ticket (for the $10,000 in services from Shady Grove Fertility) per adult (age 18 or older) registrant
4) In person event access including fun walk/run course, finish line party (DJ, games, snacks) and Savannah's Playground with games for children, a "toddler trot" (short race for children ages 2-4 years old)
Fundraise for even more chances to win this year's free cycle drawing (up to a $10,000 value.) For every $25 raised through our 2024 Maryland Race for the Family Fundraising Page, registrants will receive 1 additional raffle entry. This is a great reason to gather with family and friends- to raise $ to support families and help them OVERCOME infertility!
Cancellation Policy: We will be out racing walking and celebrating OVERCOMING infertility RAIN OR SHINE. We do not allow cancellations permit transfers for in person registrants.
Tech race shirts are included with registration adult registrations and youth registrations.
